With over 102,000 of us making our voices heard, Parliament have agreed to debate on the 6th February about the ongoing crisis of the domestic ivory trade. Over 30,000 African Elephants are killed each year for their ivory and from 2009 to 2014, 40% of UK customs seizures were ivory items. When we all come together and stand strong we can make a huge difference to the world. Taking 30 seconds out of your day to sign a petition can make a huge difference - not only to elephants, but species all around the world. We can all make a difference.
Parliament is going to debate the petition you signed – “Shut down the domestic ivory market in the UK.”.
The debate is scheduled for 6 February 2017.
Once the debate has happened, we’ll email you a video and transcript.
